Health & Well-being Week next week!

Important Information!

Health and Well-being Week at St James’ – 22-26 June 2026

We have planned an exciting week of activities for the children next week, during our Health and Well-being week.  Children will be off-timetable all week so they will need to wear PE kit every day.   Please make sure they wear their house PE t-shirts on Wednesday for Sports Day.  Suitable PE clothes are ok for the rest of the week.

The weather looks very hot and sunny for next week so please make sure your child has a hat/cap, sun cream and plenty of water for the day.  Start and end times of the day DO NOT change.

On Tuesday we will be having a whole school picnic so children will need to bring a packed lunch unless they are on free school meals when a packed lunch will be provided on the day.  Lunch will be as normal on every other day, and they will need to bring a snack and drink as usual.

Throughout the week, pupils will take part in a variety of events on and off-site, such as Airhop, Clip n Climb, 360˚ Digital Dome, workshops designed to promote healthy living, physical activity, emotional well-being and positive lifestyle choices. These may include mindfulness activities, team-building games, healthy eating workshops, and more.

To help us provide the best experience for all the children, we kindly ask for a small donation per child. This contribution will go directly towards the cost of external providers, materials, and resources needed for the week.

Thank you as always for your continued support. We look forward to a fantastic week focused on the health and happiness of all our pupils.

If you can give a small donation to help with the costs this will be greatly appreciated!  Please bring into the office.

We’re sure the children will have a wonderful week!
